BTownCritics was formed by David Jaffe and Zach Adda. There are two purposes of this website: to allow local businesses to get free and/or cheap exposure to help compete with large franchise businesses, as well as help both temporary residents of Bloomington (Students), as well as permanent residents of the city choose businesses based on reviews by fellow residents. We felt there was no great way to find reviews about apartments or restaurants without hunting around the Internet for hours on end to make a decision, so we built this website to help fellow BTown residents.

Dave, the Co-Founder and Developer of BTownCritics, is currently a Junior majoring in Informatics through the School of Informatics and Computing at Indiana University, and minoring in Computer Science, Business, and Entrupreneurship. He is also involved with Mystik LLC., promoting student involvement, and a Co-Founder and Lead Developer of CultureVerse, a subsidary of Mystik.

Zach Adda, the other Co-Founder of BTownCritics, is also a Junior majoring in Informatics through the School of Informatics and Computing at Indiana University.
